Perfectly Me - MARCH BREAK CAMP
Beauty is Me has partnered with COOK-UP to run The Perfectly Me Camp. This will be an exciting Camp that incorporates cooking, creativity, and confidence. Kids will develop essential kitchen skills, explore food entrepreneurship, and express themselves through cooking and baking. Working in teams, they’ll create and design their own cupcake business, developing a unique flavour, brand, and marketing strategy before launching and showcasing their creations at a mini pop-up event. This interactive experience fosters teamwork, innovation, and self-expression, celebrating what makes each participant unique!

Beauty is Me FUNDRAISER LUNCHEON 2025
We're excited to invite you to our upcoming Fundraising Luncheon 2025! The funds raised from this event will be instrumental in bridging gaps in the services we provide to parents, caregivers, guardians, children, and youth. For example, free hair care for children and youth, as well as the placement of Afrocentric books in schools, daycare centres and hair salons, just to name a few.

Perfectly Me Youth Conference: Breaking Barriers
Join us as we host our 2nd Perfectly Me Youth Conference: Breaking through Barriers! This conference is designed for youth ages 14-28 and will feature a panel of inspiring speakers who will share their stories of perseverance and resilience. Our panelist includes: Ayo Adams an Engineer and Project Management Professional, Sharisse Guyton, Co-Founder and CEO of Vision in Numbers Inc, and Brandon McBride, Olympian and Founder of the McBride Youth United Association.

I AM ENOUGH Summer Camp 2024
Beauty is Me is inviting you to the I Am Enough Summer Camp! This summer camp is created for youth to build their self-confidence, reinforce self-love, and strengthen relationships within the Black community! Our goal during the I Am Enough Summer Camp is to reaffirm our youth that they are worthy, enough, and that they belong! Join us every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00PM-2:00PM at the Caribbean Centre as we explore field trips, play games, do arts and crafts, and enjoy the opportunity to learn from local black professionals in the Windsor community! Please note that lunch will be provided for youth attending. We are enthusiastic and eager to see you all there! Register today to reserve your spot!

The CROWN We Never Take Off
On Saturday, June 22, 2024, Beauty is Me celebrates "The Crown We Never Take Off!"
Come join us to learn about the history of Black hair from our Facilitator/Educator Brianna Brown. Black hair tells the history of our heritage and speaks to the resilience of the Black community. This will be an informative workshop for parents, caregivers, guardians, and service providers. It will highlight how Black hair was used not only as a form of oppression but also as empowerment from the 1900s era to the present day. We will also enjoy some cultural meals for lunch.
