Meet our Keynote Speaker

Jeremiah Bowers

Jeremiah Bowers, Juris Doctor (Lincoln Alexander School of Law), Honours B.A. in Political Science (University of Windsor), Articling Student at Goldblatt Partners LLP (Toronto, ON), Secretary & Founding Member of The Black Council of Windsor-Essex, Recipient of the 2023 Lieutenant Governor of Ontario’s Lincoln M. Alexander Award for commitment to advancing racial justice in Windsor-Essex.

Born and raised in Windsor, Jeremiah Bowers is a legal professional and advocate for racial justice recognized with the 2023 Lieutenant Governor’s Lincoln M. Alexander Award. He currently articles with Goldblatt Partners LLP, one of Canada’s leading union-side labour firms. As a founding member and the current Secretary of The Black Council of Windsor-Essex and the 2024-25 National Chair of the Black Law Students’ Association of Canada, Jeremiah has championed equity and empowerment for Black and racialized youth across Canada.
